Noon: meet up in HCCC parking on TRAVIS, near garden
2pm: throw down and group photo
Cost: FREE
Join us to sketch craft demonstrations and activities. Many Houston craft guilds will be demonstrating their work including: Blacksmiths, woodturners, embroiderers, metal arts, book arts, calligraphy and more. There is also a garden & neighborhood that can be sketched at this location.
NOTE THAT THE FESTIVAL ENTRANCE IS BEHIND THE HCCC BUILDING, on Travis street.
Parking: This is a parking lot festival with food and refreshments available for purchase from a food truck. Street parking.
If you haven’t sketched with us before, welcome! Bring your art supplies and join us! You may want to bring a chair & water. This isn’t a class or a competition -- just people who enjoy sketching together, on-location from direct observation. All ability levels are welcome. Children are welcome, but under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
