The Light Up the Park Committee will host it's Annual Light Up the Park Parade & Park Lighting on December 6, 2025.
It is traditionally held on the first Saturday in December each year. The parade begins at 6:30PM.
Parade goes from Cross of Christ Church to the Houston City Park along Maple Street in Houston, Minnesota.
Come watch our lighted parade, see Santa & Mrs. Claus & join in the fun of the lighting of our trees in the city park.
We are looking for Parade Entry participants! Businesses, Non-Profits, Clubs, Organizations, etc.
Line-up will begin at 6:00 PM at the Cross of Christ Church.
Categories for judging include:
1st, 2nd & 3rd Place (Prizes will be $50 for 1st, $40 for 2nd & $30 for 3rd)
Please display a sign that clearly and boldly states the name of your business, organization or club on the DRIVER'S SIDE of your float.
We are looking for participants to add lights & music to their floats for more festive fun.
We also ask that participants turn off their headlights during the parade please.
There is no fee to enter.
