A classically trained pianist, and raised on a steady diet of folk, jazz, and bluegrass in Oklahoma and New Mexico, she has always been most inspired by any great female singer.  Kate's music is built with subtle precision, and a rare senstivity to the inner life - with plenty of good hooks, and a chorus that makes you want to sing along. This may be in part because Kate is also a Board Certified Music Therapist, currently working primarily with kids with autism and veterans with PTSD.  

The Crew is Gus Alvarado on drums, Andrew Gordon on bass, and Russ Willis on guitars - local heavy hitters who bring the beat and playfully pass the soul around. These players make music together in various projects across the city - some collaborations going back over 15 years. They recently recorded live in the studio together for Kate's upcoming album, Some Comfort - out summer 2026. 

Must be 21 plus to enter unless accompanied by your parent.
