Iowa Neighbor Weekend

Residents of local counties (Winneshiek and Allamakee Counties in Iowa), including college students, are specially invited to visit the International Owl Center for FREE during Iowa Neighbor Weekend. The Owl Center is located in Houston, Minnesota, just one hour north of Decorah.

Come see live owls in person, check out our hands-on displays, and stay for our live programs at 11 and 2 each day.

Please bring a driver license, student ID or other form of identification to verify your place of residence. Visitors from elsewhere are also welcome, but will be required to pay the regular admission fee of $9 for adults, $8 for seniors/military/veteran and $6 for children aged 4-17.
