ROCO presents a world premiere commission by composer and filmmaker Heather Schmidt inspired by her passion for husky rescues, plus a commission by Grammy-winning composer and producer Starr Parodi, exploring the beauty and grace of sea life. Finally, Leopold Mozart’s Sinfonia da Caccia brings audiences along on a countryside hunt!

ROCO is also thrilled to premiere the chamber orchestra arrangement of legendary guitarist, composer, and philanthropist Steve Vai’s Salamanders in the Sun, created by Mark Buller, bringing fresh symphonic color to one of Vai’s earliest compositions. Vai will also be honored with an award before the show!

Since its founding in 2005, ROCO has established a singular role in classical music by reimagining what a chamber orchestra can be. Based in Houston, ROCO’s approach transcends boundaries and borders—creating an inclusive and dynamic experience that resonates with both in-person and online audiences.
