Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration: Wellness Walk
Join Laura Conely, founder of Urban Paths, for a 3-mile guided walk of the Garden’s cultivated spaces and natural ecosystems. Walkers of all paces and ages will enjoy the health benefits of physical activity and exposure to nature.
Participants should bring a refillable water bottle (water bottle fillers are available adjacent to Garden restrooms) or purchase water in the Garden Shop before beginning the walk.
AARP in Houston has joined forces with the Garden to offer the Wellness Walk to the public free of charge, in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month. Only 24 spaces are available, on a first-reserved, first-served basis.
About The Host: The mission of the Houston Botanic Garden -- a 501(c)3, not-for-profit corporation set to open in fall 2020 -- is to enrich life through discovery, education, and the conservation of plants and the natural environment.
