Seminar Objectives

The Tencate Design Seminar is catered toward the Geotechnical and Civil Engineering professional who would like to improve their understanding of Geosynthetics and their proper use.  This will include discussions and education on the diverse categories of Geosynthetics, their proper application for use, and their relevant design methodologies.  The Engineering professional attending this seminar will leave with a better understanding on filtration, the application of separation, and the use of innovative materials for structural enhancement and continuous moisture management.  It will also cover design software capable of improving the cost efficiencies for foundation applications utilizing these materials.

The use of nonwoven vs. woven separators



Application of filtration and water flow



Proper use of separators based on project specific conditions



New innovations in foundation improvement



Structural enhancement and moisture management
