Richard Schmidt is in his fifth year at Bank of America Merrill Lynch within the Global Rates & Currencies (GRC) Origination business. A joint venture between Global Banking and Markets, GRC Origination is responsible for providing risk management solutions to corporate and commercial banking clients. Based in Chicago, Richard is responsible for delivering to clients across all industries, specializing in interest rate and foreign exchange risk management. Prior to joining Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Richard attended the University of Chicago where he holds a B.A. in Economics.
