this is going to be a very special dance u don’t wanna miss!! we are really pushing the edges on this one with our theme “Permission To Fail”… so many things in life are baffling to us and we have no idea what to do, we think “how on earth do i dance to this?” in this playlist we are inviting ourselves to dance that out! to be curious, to discover authentic movement & wisdom that just may emerge in the light of the grace & acceptance we give ourselves to move without having things figured out, freed from the need to “get it right” and all the grief that comes along with the times in our lives where we “get it wrong.” We liberate ourselves, past present & future, from the pain of our mistakes and all the ways we have felt and feel we don’t measure up. We lean into falling short and pray that in doing so fully we may fall in Love. This music will really challenge us to go inward and find true authentic expression amidst an arena of unpredictability and unconventionality. We can dance through & alchemize confusion, worry, resentment, fear, regret, hope, shame, judgment, sorrow, nonsense, wishing for things to be different…
Paradoxically, when we are in a state of complete acceptance as we are—even at our worst, even when we feel we are failing—that very acceptance which does not require us to change, is the very thing which potentially allows us to receive the energy, courage, clarity, wisdom, & willingness to change, if we so desire. Let us dance the full spectrum of our Joy & Beauty to our Ugliness & Chaos— let us bring ALL of ourselves along, & be perfect as we are. May all beings benefit from this deep Prayer of Alchemizing Acceptance.
AND- as usual, LIVE MUSIC @ 7:30: we will be opening with a listening meditation while i sing some original songs for everyone on ukulele or guitar, and then commence with opening circle ⭕️:) THANK YOU I LOVE YOU!!
