We are so excited about the new partnership w/ Harris County Precinct 2 to help operate and maintain Moody Park. 

We will still be there every Tuesday and Thursdays

Join our free, bi-weekly Mexi'cah Dance Circle (Danza Azteca) led by Abuela M'api Rainflowa and Calmecac,s community teachers, each with over a decade of experience.

? Moody Park Gymnasium (inside the recreation building)

? Twice a week – open to all ages & families- sign up for free at the front desk and get a scan code to check in each class.

? Bring water + comfortable  workout gear
Women: please wear a skirt/wrap to honor Mother Earth

Since 1998, Calmecac Indigenous Organization's members hashave shared Aztec Mexica Percussion- drumming & culture across Houston. Inter-generational, community-focused, and rooted in tradition.
