The classroom will have hardware demonstrators, including type ATC controllers, contactor-type switches and breaker-type switches. Hands-on activity will comprise at least half of the time spent in training activities. Attendees will meet key product line and support personnel. A plant tour will be included.Course topics include:Transfer switch basics, including types of switches, codes and standards, as well as issues related to transfer switch operationApplication considerationsOperation and setup of current-production controllersOperation, startup and service of contactor type- and breakertype switchesOperation, startup and service of the contactor-type, bypass/ isolation switchesOperation, startup and service of Magnum DS-type switches, both standard TSE and bypass/isolation typesNOTE:Students should bring their laptop computers, 8 cal/cm2 shirts, pants, leather work gloves, and goggles or sideshield safety glasses. This is a product-specific certification training program. Successful completion of practical and written exams is required.Arriving at our Training CentersGaining Access:Upon arriving at our training centers, follow signage and any other directions you may have received before arriving for your event.
