Leigh Leasure, Ph.D. is a Professor at the University of Houston and Director of the Brain Health & Plasticity Lab, where she studies neuroplasticity — the brain's capacity to change itself. Her research focuses particularly on exercise-driven neuroplasticity and the effects of binge alcohol on the brain, with additional work examining brain recovery and aging.
