The Chocolate Experience
Discover signature chocolate tastings created by local chocolatiers, bakeries, restaurants, coffee shops, and other culinary businesses. Guests can sample a variety of sweet, savory, hot, cold, and spirited creations while discovering the talent of Houston’s culinary community.

Catrina & Catrín Procession
A signature Death by Chocolate tradition, the Catrina & Catrín Procession brings the creativity and cultural artistry of Día de los Muertos to life. Participants will showcase their original looks as they compete for a place among the judges’ Top Three.

Supporting Our Community
Every day, local nonprofits provide hope, opportunity, and essential services to children, families, and neighbors throughout Houston’s East End. We support organizations doing important work, helping them secure the resources they need to continue serving our community and reach more people.

Proceeds from Death by Chocolate support the Morales Memorial Foundation’s grantmaking efforts and continue Angela V. Morales’s legacy of compassion and commitment to the community she loved.
