- **Event Description**: Now that we are in the midst of “The Most Wonderful Time of the Year”, the Hot Springs Concert Band is finishing up preparations for its annual Christmas Concert coming up on Thursday, December 11. The band’s artistic director and principal conductor, Mr. Jim Lloyd, has selected 12 excellent pieces for the concert. Featured on one of those is notable Hot Springs Village vocalist Maureen Morgan. Her talents and contributions to the Village are amazing, and having her join the band for this concert is indeed a special treat for the band and especially so for the audience. 
     Song selections for the concert include: A Very Merry Heart And Soul, In The Bleak Midwinter, Christmas Vacation, Go Tell It On The Mountain, Christmas from the '50's, Salvation Is Created, All I Want For Christmas Is You and more! And...everyone should come with plenty of Christmas spirit to sing along with the band on some classic songs of the season.  
    The Christmas Concert will again be sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Hot Springs Village. The proceeds from these concerts have revealed not only a strong love of music by concert goers, but also their kindness, generosity and loyalty to the band and their belief in the Kiwanis mission of serving the needs of children and youth. So, this concert will provide not only some enjoyable Christmas music, but also an opportunity to make Christmas a little brighter for some kids. 
     The concert will be held on Thursday, December 11 at 7:00 p.m. at the Woodlands Auditorium in Hot Springs Village. Tickets are $15 and may be purchased from the Woodlands Auditorium Box Office (501-922-4231), and through https://hotspringsvillage.thundertix.com/.
