Powerful Tools for Caregivers is a six-session course supporting caregivers by enhancing self-care behaviors, examining ways to manage emotions, encouraging self-efficacy, and promoting the use of community resources.
The workshop will run every two weeks from March 4 through May 13, 2026, on Wednesdays from 9:15 a.m.– 10:45 a.m. at The Caring Place, 101 Quapaw Ave, Hot Springs, AR 71901. If participants are interested in continuing to meet, a caregiver’s support group will be formed at the end of the workshop to continue selfcare, education and support. Respite care is available for care receivers to allow caregivers to participate in the program.
The Cooperative Extension Service offers this program for $30, the cost of “The Caregiver Helpbook”, a digital e-book developed specifically for this class.
