One of RHCS's best friends is going to grace our stage once again! Let's be thankful and welcome back Brian Martin, on Saturday, December 13th! Brian is an amazing musician, super storyteller, and all around good egg. You may recognize him from performing as a member of Sad Daddy or maybe you were here for his recent visit to our stage for the debut of the duo, Delta Horseflies (with Joe Sundell). Requested donation (which ALL goes to the artist) is $25 per person. Trust us... it's worth it! We would also like to ask for a canned good donation as you come in that we'll take to one of our area food pantries.
Please get your confirmations in to us early as we anticipate a packed house for this show. Doors will open at 6:30pm and prepare to be entertained starting at 7pm. The RHCS standard happy machine will be loaded and ready (rum this time) - and please bring a dish to share and whatever other libations you prefer.
This is a HOUSE CONCERT. If you have not attended a house concert before, here are the house rules:
1. It is BYOB! We will have a couple of adult beverages available (and if you know us, we will probably have the Happy Machine running), but if you prefer a certain type of adult beverage, bring it. We will most likely have an ice chest for you to keep it cold if needed. (Drink Responsibly)
2. We will have some snacks, but there likely will not be enough to feed everyone. Bring a dish to share. It can be chips and dip, cookies, an order of wings, a personally prepared dish (our favorite), or anything you think people will like.
3. This is not a bar venue. We highly discourage talking during the performance. This is an intimate venue for the artist, and we appreciate your undivided attention during the performance. If you need to talk, please go to another room.
4. If you came to hear cover songs, it's not gonna happen here. This is for the artist to show off their original music. They may play some covers throughout the night, but it won't be the focus.
5. Silence your phones. Show everyone here some respect.
6. We do not CHARGE for admission. We ask for donations, but if you are there to listen to the artist, then you need to pay up (it is not fair to the artist for you to get something for nothing and they give something and get nothing). This is the artist's livelihood. They aren't there for their health. THERE MAY BE MERCH - so bring extra $$$$
7. Enjoy yourself. Meet new friends through music. And most of all HAVE FUN!
