Experience the beauty of the Yorkshire Dales Three Peaks at a relaxed pace one mountain per day.
This small-group guided adventure takes you up Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside, and Ingleborough, allowing time to enjoy the scenery, geology, and peaceful character of the Dales without the pressure of the one-day challenge.

Led by Jonathan, an experienced Mountain Leader from Where2Walk, this three-day itinerary is perfect for walkers who want to build confidence, take in the views, and connect with fellow adventurers.

Daily Itinerary

Day 1 – Pen-y-Ghent (9 miles)
Start in Horton-in-Ribblesdale, following the classic ascent to the summit before looping back past the impressive Hull Pot, one of the largest natural holes in England.

Day 2 – Whernside (11 miles)
Begin at Ribblehead Viaduct and climb via Blea Moor Tunnel and Dentdale. Take in the tranquil tarns before reaching the highest of the Three Peaks.

Day 3 – Ingleborough (11 miles)
Ascend from Clapham through Gaping Gill and Little Ingleborough, crossing limestone pavements and nature reserves before returning through Ingleborough’s striking landscape.
