Experience the Night Sky with Richard Darn

A dark skies presentation and celestial experience of a guide to the night sky with Richard Darn.

We’ll go in search of wonders in the night sky as the winter stars give way to those of spring. We will spy distant star clusters and have a fantastic view of a near first quarter moon. Bring your smartphone and we will show you how to take a picture of the lunar craters, lava flows and mountains! Plus a short distance away is Mars, glowing with its trademark red tint. There will also be a fascinating dark skies beginner’s tour of the heavens using planetarium software.
