🏃 Prudhoe Town Road Races – 2026 🏅
We are delighted to be returning to Prudhoe Town this summer with the popular Prudhoe Road Races!
We are working in conjunction with Prudhoe Town Council and Prudhoe Town Football Club to bring you this road-closed event, which will take place on Sunday 30th August 2026 at 9:00am.
🏁 Distances
2km – Children aged 8–11
5km – Anyone aged 11+
10km – Anyone aged 15+
🌳 About the Event
The new, flatter 5km & 10km routes – which have been very well received – will start & finish at Prudhoe Town Football Club and run out-and-back through Low Prudhoe Industrial Estate.
The PB-potential courses make a fantastic training run or fitness test for those taking on the Great North Run just 2 weeks later, while the 5km is perfect for beginners or those chasing a fast time.
Both distances are accurately measured and will appear on Power of 10.

This event is NOT Cani-Cross friendly.

9:00am – 5km & 10km
9:05am – 2km
⏳ Cut off times
Due to road closures, there is a 90-minute cut-off time for the 5km and 10km races.
⏱️ Timing
Live chip-timing provided by Timing Up North.

5km & 10km Finishers will receive: 🏅 Medal, 🎁 Wild Deer Merchandise, ☕ Coffee/Tea & 🥪 Breakfast Roll
2km Finishers will receive: 🏅 Medal, 🎁 Merch, 🥤 Drink & 🍫 Snack
