Our kids sent work training course runs over six weeks, one hour each week, and is for kids 8 to 16 years of age and their dog. To enable them to learn more about training dogs, build a strong relationship I was having fun and learning new skills.

In this course they’ll learn how to teach your dog important foundation skills to find a red Kong and tell you once they found it.

Each week will build on the skills and work through searching pipes, bags and chairs as well as novel area and the outside of vehicles. 

Sent work is a brilliant team activity and as a brilliant way of your dog to shine at something they’re naturally good at which helps boost their confidence as well as improving focus and engagement for both your child and dog. 

PLEASE NOTE:

- Kids sniffer class is only suitable for dogs are comfortable in the presence of other dogs/People and those that are not reactive
- Basic training skills are advantage but not essential
- Kids Sniffer Dogs class is NOT designed to replace formal training classes or solve long-term issues but to provide a fun opportunity for children to enjoy training
- A parent/guardian must remain on site throughout the session
- Sessions will take place outside so please ensure a suitable clothing and footwear
- Your dog may need to spend short amounts of time in your car
