It will make a beautiful gift for someone special too, if you can bear to part with it!This in-person workshop will take place on Saturday 6th June at 9.30.a.m . I can't wait to welcome you to my venue located at Manor Road, Horbury, WF4 6HH.During this hands-on workshop, Sam will guide you through the entire process of creating your own unique Kimono/Robe, helping you to master new sewing techniques, gain valuable skills.You will learn tips & tricks on how to work with slippery fabrics, French seams & how to add a thread chain for a belt.This beautiful robe features a notched lapel, large kimono style sleeves & an optional belt with thread chain lops & can be made in a variety of fabrics.Suitable for confident beginners and experienced sewers alike. (You must be able to thread a sewing machine & sew in a straight line & made a few things before).WHAT’S INCLUDEDThe class includes expert instruction, use of the machines, tools etc plus tea, coffee & and biscuits! There will be a break for lunch which can be bought nearby or bring along with you.YOU NEED TO BRING* 3 metres of 1.5m wide woven fabric, such as viscose, satin, cotton lawn (If you aren’t sure, please contact me). I recommend that you wash this prior to the class* Matching thread* If you would prefer to bring your own machine, just let us know & ensure that you have all the power cable, pedal & all the bits & pieces that came with it.* Glasses if you need them - don't forget them!SKILL LEVELBeginner/IntermediateSuitable for adults who have never made a garment before but are confident using a sewing machine. As well as those who may have previous experience and wish to use the class to gain confidence or new inspiration.*Please note - the studio is accessed via stairs & the toilets are downstairs. There is free off street parking outside the studio.Cancellation/Refund PolicyPayment in full is required at the time of booking to secure your place.
