The LCS PTO is excited to be hosting another Clothing Swap and are pleased to announce that this will be a bi-annual event!
A clothing swap is an event where participants exchange the clothing that their families have outgrown or no longer wear, for clothing they will use. Clothing swaps are not only a free way to refill your family's wardrobe, but also are considered an act of environmentalism by keeping clothes out of landfills.
We need your help to make this event a success. We will be collecting donations of clothes, shoes, boots, and outerwear in good, clean condition, ranging in size from infant to adult. Donations can be dropped off in the large plastic deck box labeled "CLOTHING SWAP DONATIONS" at the Walsh Common entrance at LCS until March 25. Our volunteers will organize all the donations and sort them by size.
On Thursday, March 26th from 3-7PM, Friday, March 27th from 9AM-2PM and Saturday, March 28th from 9AM-5PM, we will welcome everyone to come and take what they need, free of charge. You do not need to have children at LCS to attend. This event is open to the public!
Though not necessary or expected, the LCS PTO will accept any voluntary monetary donations you may want to make. We will also make the clothes available to Nurse Raegan to refill the School Closet in her office. Any clothes that are left over will be donated to the SOS Room in Camden, Maine.
