Stella Ruze is an award-winning folk rock band from Philadelphia, PA. They blend four-part vocal harmonies with infectious rhythms and horn arrangements to create a new, genre-bending sound.
The band has performed at WXPN’s XPoNential Festival, Philly Music Fest, and the Philadelphia Folk Festival. They have been featured on WXPN and Radio 104.5, and won the Folk category of the 2019 PHL LIVE Center Stage Awards. Their latest album – “Origin” – was released in 2024. With an EP, LP, and two full-length albums to their name, Stella Ruze is producing new material for 2025.
James Daniels Band
Torn between being steeped in tradition and blazing the trail towards the future. Daniels sings and performs with a haunting lyrical gravitas akin to the troubadours who came before him. Partnered with the musical prowess of John Tyler the duo is continually forging a path for the future of Americana.
James Daniels and John Tyler are founding members of the Philadelphia based indie-rock band Chestnut Grove. The two childhood friends began playing music together at James’ 13th birthday party in his parent’s barn in Perkiomenville, PA in 2006(where they still rehearse today). James was impressed, inspired and driven by John’s musical talent. The duo began writing and learning songs immediately.
Now with almost twenty years together, multiple studio albums and over a decade on the road. The two dynamic players and songwriters continue to expand their musical pallets. The band performs live with a rotation of local and regional talent.
