RHB laat zich deze keer van een andere kant horen met een repertoire uiteenlopend van Fleetwood Mac, BB King, JJ Cale, Jimmy Reed, Ten Years After, John Lee Hooker, The Rolling Stones, Gary Moore, John Mayall en misschien zelfs bepaalde Nederlandse artiesten uit het roemruchte vaderlandse beat-verleden. Ruben Hoeke Band, één van de beste Nederlandse live bands, brengt in Manifesto hun ‘Tribute to the Blues’!

Ruben is autodidact en heeft zich door de loop der jaren vele genres eigen gemaakt. Rock, pop, soul, boogie, country, folk, ska, reggea, hardrock, ballads etc. Echter; het bloed kruipt waar het niet gaan kan. De ‘Blues’ is iets dat in zijn DNA zit en altijd de rode draad door zijn muziek is gebleken. Ook RHB-drummer Eric Hoeke kan leunen op decennia lange ervaring in de jazz, rock, blues en funk scene. De band die reeds tien jaar in ongewijzigde samenstelling speelt wordt compleet gemaakt door zangfenomeen Lucas Pruim en bassist extraordinaire Mike Kamp.

Doghouse Tenants
Wat begon op een stoffige bovenverdieping heeft zich inmiddels ontpopt tot een band met sterke live reputatie. Doghouse Tenants stond al met onder meer Flavium en de Ierse bluesgigant Eamonn McCormack op het podium.

De band wordt gedragen door twee gitaristen die met hun vintage gitaarsound het kloppende hart van de band vormen. Deze karakteristieke sound wordt versterkt door oude Marshall-amps, wat een authentiek en meeslepend geluid oplevert dat fans keer op keer weet te boeien.
