- **Event Description**: Een kermiszondagmiddag zonder Bassie en Bobo en band kunnen we ons niet voorstellen. Ruim dertig jaar geleden kwamen de mannen voor het eerst op ons podium en we koesteren deze band.
Toen Bas Berkhout en Jeroen Aker in 1991 besloten om spontaan wat liedjes te gaan spelen op een Wervershoofse kermisborrel kon niemand bevroeden dat hier nog honderden optredens op zouden volgen. Van kastelen tot rondvaartboten, en van feesttenten tot theaters: Bassie & Bobo maken er overal een vrolijk feest van met eigen liedjes in het Westfries.
Bassie &Bobo houden van een luchtige en humoristische aanpak bij hun optredens want “het klinkt toch nooit zo als op de plaat, dus dan maar op onze manier”. Nog altijd zijn Bassie en Bobo graag geziene gasten op kermissen en feesten en voor de liefhebber is er altijd wel ruimte voor een rondje westfries, hard-rock, Ierse folk, smartlappen, sixties of gekkigheid, want zo is het immers ook begonnen.
 
De band bestaat uit Bas en Jeroen, Martijn Berkhout en Enrico Kors.
