About:
Mountain Trail is a competitive equestrian sport that challenges and highlights the communication between horse and rider. Join clinician Mary Jane Brown and the MJB clinic team for a fun weekend of mountain trail obstacles, and ranch riding horsemanship at the Hood River Saddle Club. Here you will learn the intricacies of competitive Mountain Trail, Ranch Riding and improve on your current navigation skills. The last day of the clinic we will have a low-key, fun practice show.

Mary Jane Brown is the lead clinician of MJB Clinics and has been teaching horsemanship for over 40 years. She was the 2021 All-Star Trainer Challenge Champion at OHC National Mountain Trail Championships. From Mountain Trail Competitions to Ranch Horse Versatility events, she has a wealth of information to share. Mary Jane has an encouraging and direct approach and it’s always horsemanship first. Mary Jane has judged and taught at some of the premier northwest venues and events!
Whether you’re a beginner or an advanced student, you can be sure that Mary Jane will take the time to help you and your horse get better and have fun doing it!
