- **Event Description**: Charlie Riter is a film and digital photographer specializing in fine art landscape images.  While the ease and availability of digital photography is an undeniable and enjoyable necessity, Charlie’s real attraction to this art form is good old fashioned film.  Without being too much of an eclectic, the use of film helps form a deeper bond with the images whether it be through the more time consuming capture process or the precise attention to detail required when developing and printing images using analogue techniques.  Charlie’s work tends to lean more towards black and white images and the use of filters to control exposure time/add motion to images.

	Charlie has been a resident of the gorge going on 8 years but only 3 of those have been spent with camera in hand.  A nasty mountain bike accident opened up a large chunk of time and the possibility of a new hobby.  A medium format, Mamiya 645 ProTL, camera was the first in an increasing number of cameras.  That camera still holds its place as the main workhorse in Charlie’s arsenal.  Please come down to meet Charlie and see some of his work along with checking out some unique cameras.
