The design reimagines kapa (bark cloth), using a red earth tone of Palaʻā dye on Māmaki kapa, and presenting a birdʻs-eye view of Hiʻiaka’s journey from Molokaʻi to Makapuʻu and along Oʻahu’s district of Koʻolaupoko.
