Join us in the Main Gallery for the Opening Reception of the HAWAIʻI CRAFTSMEN Annual Statewide Exhibition 2026, Hawaiʻi’s premier statewide juried exhibition featuring works of traditional and contemporary craft, selected from across the state of Hawaiʻi by juror Jonathan Yukio Clark. Please note the Award Ceremony will be Saturday, Sept. 5 from 6-8 p.m.

In the Courtyard Gallery, see "Marginalized: Portraits in Identity and Sign,” featuring new work by ceramics artist Amber Aguirre: ceramic busts representing individuals who have been excluded from mainstream society due to their differences from the dominant white/heterosexual/christian/male majority that holds the power in our society.

In the first floor DAC Art & Gifts Shop, check out new jewelry, original artwork, prints and gifts by local artists, enjoy live acoustic guitar music by Michael Tannenbaum, find out who our September Featured Artist is, and see the featured installation, "Battle Cries," by artist Lynda Hess!
