Recognise warning signs, respond safely and guide them towards help.About this EventAbout the courseYouth Mental Health First Aid is a 14-hour in-person course designed for adults who support, teach, care for, or work with young people.The course builds the knowledge, skills, and confidence to recognise when a young person may be developing a mental health challenge, respond in a supportive way, and guide them towards appropriate help.Using a practical, evidence-based Action Plan, participants learn how to respond to common mental health concerns and crisis situations affecting young people, while maintaining clear and appropriate support boundaries.The course is delivered by an accredited Youth Mental Health First Aid Instructor and is internationally recognised.
