Brought to you by The New Normal Charity & Heinok.About this EventSo what is this yoga class?TNN Yoga - Sound & StretchThe class will focus on gentle movement and stretches, complemented with sound healing, to relax and restore without the hustle and bustle of the city noise. We hope to hold space for participants to embark on an inward experience to release stress and find ease in the body and the mind. Suitable for all levels, with modifications and variations offered to accommodate all participants. Bilingual instructions, primarily English supplemented with Cantonese cues, will also be on offer.Please note we will be hosting our classes at Yoga Lane Sai Ying Pun studio 3 (located on High Street.) Please arrive 5-10 minutes before class starts.Sign ups are open until 50 hours before class time. Classes are cancelled if less than 3 people 48 hours before scheduled class time.Move PartnersTaking part in physical activity can improve mental health in many ways; better sleep, happier moods, managing stress, anxiety, and intrusive thoughts, improved self-esteem, and connection to the community, to name a few.Move Partners is a collaborative project between The New Normal Charity and organisations, professionals, and athletes. We aim to reinforce the connection and the importance of moving to help support our mental health.'Pay it forward' ticketingWe aim to make fitness for mental health accessible in Hong Kong. That’s why we offer tiered pricing for our Move Partners movement classes so you can pay at a tier you feel comfortable with for a good cause. We also offer places in our classes for free for those experiencing financial hardship - please email move@thenewnormalcharityhk.org for further instructions on how to apply for a spot.Your donations will help us cover the basics including NGO-discounted rental cost of the studio space and teacher's pay. Once this is covered, all other donations will 'pay it forward' to support others who may be facing financial hardship with a space in our movement classes or peer support groups. $120 (Tier 1) donation will allow us to provide someone with one month of free peer support $250 (Tier 2) will allow us to offer someone support beyond their first month of peer support.Classes will be cancelled if there are less than 3 sign ups 48 hours in advance to class time, fully refunding your spot back to you. As a healthcare professional who strongly believes in equality, she is passionate about developing spaces and ideas accessing community wellness. Her yoga classes feature carefully curated functional flows with variations to help one find what feels good.
