The event will be in Italian and English with English and Chinese surtitles.Giuseppina Pasqualino di Marineo, known as Pippa Bacca, was tragically murdered in Turkey on March 31, 2008, during her artistic project Brides on Tour – Brides in Journey. This performance, in which she hitchhiked dressed as a bride from Milan to Jerusalem, was dedicated to promoting peace among peoples.After her death, media coverage focused mainly on the crime, overlooking who Pippa was and the reasons behind her symbolic journey. Niece of avant-garde artist Piero Manzoni, Pippa grew up in a noble but unconventional family. She was passionate, independent, and devoted to art, funding her projects through part-time work and exhibiting in several shows.
