4 dagen zelfvoorzienend leven in harmonie met de natuur.
We nodigen jullie graag uit voor deze themaweek waarin we vier dagen samen duiken in de praktijk van duurzaam en zelfvoorzienend leven.
Geen droge theorie, maar een gedeelde ervaring.
Waar we onderzoeken, beleven én belichamen wat het betekent om dichter bij het land, de natuur en elkaar te leven. 🙏🌱
Wil jij je verdiepen in de fascinerende, praktische aspecten van een leven in harmonie met de natuur?
Dan ben je hier helemaal op je plek.
Gedurende deze dagen stappen we samen in deze realiteit.
We vertragen, verbinden en creëren, en ontdekken hoe eenvoudig en rijk het leven kan zijn wanneer we terugkeren naar de basis.
Elke dag staat in het teken van een thema,
met ruimte voor zowel theorie als praktijk.
De essentie van deze week ligt in samen leven en samen leren.
In verbinding, in eenvoud, in gemeenschap.
De intentie van de workshops is om terug te keren naar wat er al is.
naar de rijkdom van de natuur en de creativiteit in onszelf.
Van daaruit gaan we bouwen, creëren en delen.

🌱 Programma
Woensdag 08/07 — Aankomen & Afstemmen
We starten de week rustig.
We maken kennis met elkaar, met het land en met het project.
Vanuit uitwisseling verdiepen we ons in de permacultuur mindset en het denken in overvloed.
We bekijken ook een praktisch voorbeeld van natuurlijke waterzuivering.

Donderdag 09/07 — Natuurlijk Bouwen & Rocket Stoves
We ontdekken hoe we kunnen bouwen met wat er al aanwezig is.
Aarde, klei, hout en gerecycleerde materialen vormen de basis.
We verkennen hoe je lokale grond kan gebruiken, hoe je een goede leemmix samenstelt en hoe eenvoudig bouwen kan zijn.
Daarnaast duiken we in de wereld van rocket stoves — efficiënte, duurzame houtkachels die met minimale input maximale warmte creëren.
Afhankelijk van de flow gaan we praktisch aan de slag met leem en/of rocket stoves.

Vrijdag 10/07 -Permacultuur in de Moestuin
Een dag gewijd aan het levende systeem van de tuin.
We verkennen permacultuur in de praktijk: natuurlijk moestuinieren, polyculturen, bodemzorg, compost en kringlopen.
Van wilde eetbare planten tot moestuin en voedselbos,  alles komt samen in één levend geheel.
Een dag vol uitwisseling, inzichten en handen in de aarde. 🌱

Zaterdag 11/07 - Oogst Verwerken & Duurzaam Koken
We sluiten af met de rijkdom van de oogst.
Hoe bewaar en verwerk je wat het land je geeft?
Hoe kan je creatief koken met wat er lokaal en seizoensgebonden beschikbaar is?
We gaan samen aan de slag met fermenteren, bewaren en duurzaam koken 
en creëren een voedende afsluiter vanuit overvloed.

🍲 Samen leven & eten
Tijdens de themaweek voorzien we samen de maaltijden in co-creatie, met wat het land en de omgeving ons bieden.
Een brunch rond de middag en een warme maaltijd ’s avonds.
Er is ruimte om samen af te stemmen op ieders noden en ritme.

💶 Bewuste bijdrage
Bij L'île de Bambecque werken we met een bewuste bijdrage,
zodat deze ervaring toegankelijk blijft voor iedereen.
We raden aan om de volledige week mee te beleven,
om zo echt in het ritme en de diepte van het proces te kunnen zakken.
Lukt dat niet, dan ben je ook welkom om aan te sluiten voor één of meerdere dagen.
Je plekje reserveer je via de camping.
Bijdragen voor workshops en maaltijden gebeuren ter plaatse.

Op zondag 12/07 sluiten we af met een bijzonder moment:
Garden Concert with Paul Izak

Een avond waar muziek, verbinding en de energie van het land samenkomen.
Een viering van alles wat we deze week hebben ontdekt.
in zachtheid, vreugde en community. 🎶🌿

We warmly invite you to join this themed week where we dive together into the practice of sustainable and self-sufficient living.
No dry theory, but a shared, lived experience,
where we explore, feel and embody what it means to live closer to the land, to nature, and to each other. 🙏🌱
Do you feel the call to deepen into the practical aspects of living in harmony with nature?
Then this space might be for you.
During these days, we step into this reality together.
We slow down, connect and create, rediscovering how simple and rich life can be when we return to the basics.
Each day revolves around a theme,
with space for both theory and hands-on practice.
At the heart of this week is living and learning together.
In connection, in simplicity, in community.
The intention of all workshops is to return to what is already here.
to the abundance of nature and the creativity within ourselves.
From there, we build, create and share.

🌱 Program
Wednesday July 8  Arrival & Attunement
We begin gently.
Getting to know each other, the land and the project.
Through sharing, we explore the permaculture mindset and the idea of abundance.
We also look at a practical example of natural water purification.
🕙 Start: 10am

Thursday July 9 Natural Building & Rocket Stoves
We explore how to build with what is already available.
Earth, clay, wood and recycled materials become our tools.
We learn how to work with local soil, how to find the right clay mix, and how simple natural building can be.
We also dive into rocket stoves, efficient, low-tech wood stoves that burn clean and powerful.
Depending on the group’s flow, we’ll get hands-on with clay and/or rocket stoves.

Friday July 10 Permaculture in the Garden
A day dedicated to the living system of the garden.
We explore permaculture in practice: natural gardening, polycultures, soil care, composting and circular systems.
From wild edible plants to vegetable gardens and food forests, everything connects.
A day of exchange, insight and hands in the soil. 🌱
🕤 Start: 9:30am

Saturday July 11  Harvest Processing & Sustainable Cooking
We close with the abundance of the harvest.
How do you store and preserve what the land gives?
How can you cook creatively with what is locally and seasonally available?
We explore fermentation, preservation and sustainable cooking
and co-create a nourishing closing meal from the land’s gifts.
🕤 Start: 9:30am

🍲 Living & eating together
Throughout the week, we co-create our meals with what the land and local surroundings offer.
A shared brunch around midday and a warm dinner in the evening.
There is space to adapt to the needs and rhythm of the group.

💶 Conscious contribution
At L'île de Bambecque, we work with a conscious contribution system,
to keep this experience accessible to everyone.
We recommend joining the full week to really drop into the rhythm and depth of the experience.
If that’s not possible, you are also welcome to join for one or more separate days.
You can reserve your spot through the natural camping.
Contributions for workshops and meals are shared on-site.

After these days of living and creating together, you are warmly invited to stay a little longer…
On Sunday July 12, we close with a special gathering:
the Permaculture Empowerment Garden Concert with Paul Izak.
An evening where music, connection and the spirit of the land come together.

or attend it separately.
