- **Event Description**: We will be meeting at 8:30 AM at the Ernest Coe Visitors Center, just outside Everglades National Parks Florida City entrance. Admission to the National Park is $35 (or Golden Pass) per vehicle, so car pooling from the visitor center is recommended.

We will first do the West Lake Trail, a 0.5 mile walk mostly on a boardwalk. Conditions permitting, those who wish to continue can next go to Flamingo for the 1.5 mile Bayshore Loop trail that is flat but not currently being maintained so will be more difficult to traverse with some overgrown plant life. Long pants should be worn especially for this hike, as well as appropriate shoes. Please bring water, sun protection, and lunch if you wish. As always with the Everglades it would be best to come prepared for both rain showers and a wet trail.
