8th Annual Fishing Line Cleanup on Homer Spit

Join Kachemak Bay Birders cosponsored by Alaska Maritime National Wildlife Refuge for the 8th Annual Fish Line Cleanup at the Fishing Hole on the Homer Spit on Saturday, September 6 from 10 am - noon. Folks will meet by the Nick Dudiak Fishing Hole sign to start. Bags will be provided, bring your own gloves.

Some folks also pick up trash which will need to be put in a separate bag. Fish line and trash bags will go with Michelle M. (the leader) at the end. Fish line is recycled through Center for Alaska Coastal Studies - Reel In and Recycle.
