This is a QTBIPOC-centered and led space. People across all identities are welcome to attend this FREE workshop, open mic and poetry reading. Come bring your grief, your rage, your joy, your songs, lyrics, and whatever's on your heart! ✨💜

5:30-6:30 pm ✨Poetry Workshop✨
(Spots are limited.)
7:30-9 pm ✨Poetry Reading + Open Mic✨ (open to adults and youth ages 14+)
Slots are 3 min. for the open mic (1 longer poem or 2 very short poems)
From 7:30-7:50 pm, youth poets are prioritized.
From 8:00-8:30 pm, all poets are welcome to the mic.
From 8:30-9:00 pm, on the mic is featured poet Pampi, a cultural worker, visual + performing artist and people's poet developing community-centered expressive arts healing workshops rooted in popular education.

As a practice of community care, we are requiring well-fitted, high filtration masks (KN-95 or higher). Extra masks provided at the door. We will have at least one air filter running in the space. 😷
Our spaces prioritize 2SLGBTQIA, Neuro-expansive, and Disabled Black, Brown, and Indigenous writers but we welcome folks who are fierce allies who commit to the community agreement that Xenophobia, Anti-Blackness, anti-fatness, saneism, ableism, and/or anti-trans attitudes, opinions, comments, writing, or actions will not be tolerated.
