Join the GPI Team for a Night of Paranormal Investigation at The Boathouse Hotel, Holyhead, Anglesey

Become part of the team and join us for a night of real ghost hunting as we search for evidence of life after death in one of Holyhead’s most historic and atmospheric coastal buildings. Together, we’ll explore reports of unexplained activity, phantom footsteps, whispered voices, and shadowy figures said to roam the upper floors long after midnight.

Throughout the night, we’ll conduct a range of traditional and modern experiments, from glass divination and table tipping to the use of EVP (Electronic Voice Phenomena) recorders, beam barrier alarms, motion sensors and more, in our quest to make contact with whatever lingers within.

The Boathouse Hotel, perched on the edge of Holyhead Harbour, was once an old farmhouse dating back to the 19th century, though parts of the building are much older. It’s a place steeped in seafaring history, its walls echoing with tales of shipwrecks, storms, and souls lost to the sea. Within its walls lies a hidden priest hole, a chilling reminder of more secretive times. Guests and staff alike have reported eerie happenings over the years, including cold spots, slamming doors, and the ghostly apparition of a cloaked figure said to drift through the corridors overlooking the water.

With its windswept location, maritime past, and long history of hauntings, The Boathouse Hotel offers the perfect setting for a night of supernatural investigation. Join us, if you dare, as we uncover the mysteries that await beyond its creaking doors.

As always, this event is being held to raise money for a local charity in North Wales.
