We'll discover how field artists capture large scale open landscapes on the small format page using watercolors, pastels, and colored pencils. These materials will be available to try for yourself.What to Expect and How to Prepare: Participants are asked to bring their own sketchbooks and preferred materials. We will walk less than a mile on a mostly flat, grassy trail. There is a port-a-john available on site. Bring drinking water and a snack plus any needed personal supplies.This event is recommended for ages 12 and up (participants under 18 must be accompanied by an adult).Where to Meet: We will meet at the pavilion off of the parking area near the intersection of Street Rd. and Crystal Dr.Refund Policy: These events often sell out. If you are unable to attend this event after purchasing a ticket, please let us know so we can open a spot to someone on the waitlist. Refund requests must be made at least 48 hours before the event.Animal Policy: Service animals active or in training are welcome. Please leave all pets at home.Cancellation Policy: This event will be held rain or shine, with cancellation for severe weather made at the time of the event. If the Conservancy reschedules the event, attendees will be emailed, and tickets will be automatically moved to the new date.
