This showcase is so much more than music and art — it’s a living, breathing reflection of every social skill, moment of courage, and creative risk our kids have practiced all summer long.
With the steady guidance of our behavior therapists, art therapists, and music therapists, our SSS group students have done it all: dreaming up the theme and logo, designing the program, planning the setup, and even writing the announcements and learning how to MC the event.
And it’s not just about the final product — it’s about what happens while they create it. In the process, these young people are practicing cooperation, negotiation, compromise, communication, and flexibility — all the social and emotional skills that help them grow into more confident, connected, resilient versions of themselves.
Our younger campers will take the stage too, performing music and movement pieces they’ve rehearsed with so much joy and bravery. Families will see more than a performance — they’ll witness growth, connection, and kids who know they belong in the spotlight.
This is what happens when therapy AND creativity come together. It’s not just better than what most summer camps offer — it’s beyond expectation.
