A Jazz Age Evening at the Pantages with "Some Like it Hot"

The Pantages Theatre has extended a special opportunity to the Art Deco Society of Los Angeles in celebration of the touring production of jazz age classic, "Some Like It Hot" on Thursday, August 7 at 4:30 PM. We will have the lobby to ourselves until 6:00pm, to experience the history and exuberance of one of Los Angeles' only remaining Art Deco interiors (and what an interior it is!) with a pre-curtain lobby tour, conversation with the wardrobe supervisor, an opportunity to see a Tony award-winning costume from the production, access to the no-host bar followed by this song and dance spectacular! A great opportunity to photograph and be photographed in the lobby without the crowds!

Dig out your glamorous jazz age fashions for an old fashioned night at the theater in the most beautiful Art Deco interior you can imagine!

Here is how it works:

Tickets will be for sale through the Art Deco Society of Los Angeles website for $95. Your ticket will include the play and the pre-event. If you choose to purchase a ticket at a higher or lower price point directly from the Pantages (Ticketmaster), you can still participate in the pre-show activities with an add-on ticket (also purchased from ADSLA). In order to purchase that ticket, you must provide proof of purchase of tickets to the August 7, 7:30 PM show. No one will be admitted without a ticket to "Some Like It Hot."

Please note that the historic Pantages is not elevator accessible. Our group tickets will be on the lower floor, but if you need ADA seating you must specifically purchase tickets through the Pantages. Portions of the tour are only accessible by climbing stairs.


This special offer is only valid for Thursday, August 7, but "Some Like It Hot" is at the Pantages July 29 - August 17, 2025.
