The DUDC Holiday Banquet Photo Contest is back! At this year’s Holiday Banquet, attendees will once again have the chance to vote for their favorite entries from the 2025 Club Members' Photo Submissions.
Below are the rules for the contest, and how to submit photos!
Who: To submit photos to the contest, you must be a current 2025 Dive Club Member. You can only submit photos you took yourself.
What: There are 4 categories:
• Reef – Depicts life on a natural reef – coral, rock, etc.
• Wreck – Depicts life on an artificial reef (wreck).
• Critter – Subject of photo is marine or fresh-water life form.
• Comedy – Just fun or silliness underwater or topside.
When: Photos must be submitted no later than December 1st. Photos must have been taken in the last 12 months (Dec 1st, 2024- Nov 30th, 2025).

How:
• Members can submit 2 photos per category. Send separate emails per category, and include category in subject line.
• Filename should be YourName_CategoryName (ex AnnaAdkins_Critter). If you don’t include your name we won’t know who won!
• Members will only win in one category.
• Ballots will be given out at the registration table at the banquet, attendees of the banquet will be the ones who vote.
Additional Rules:
• No logos, watermarks, stamps (date-time), etc.
• JPEG format; minimum 1200 x 1500 p (8 x 10 @ 150 dpi). Higher resolution is recommend.
• No content edits allowed; minor color enhancements allowed.
Notification: Winners will be announced at the January Club Meeting with a special presentation!
