The 84th Annual Holly Springs Pilgrimage returns April 17–19, 2026. Step back in time and experience the charm, history, and stories that have shaped our community for generations. 

This year’s theme, “If These Walls Could Talk,” invites you to tour historic homes, churches, and museums that hold countless stories within their walls—with many more still to be told.

✨ Tour Schedule

-Friday & Saturday, April 17–18: Bank of Holly Springs presents the tour of Homes, churches, and museums. 
-Sunday, April 19: Montrose only

Tour the historic homes of Holly Springs, including Montrose(1858), Walter Place (1859), Wynne House Inn (1872), Dunvegan - Cochran Place (1845), Gwydir (1886), Featherfall (1940). Museums include: Kate Freeman Clark Art Gallery, Marshall County Historical Museum, and Yellow Fever Martyrs Church and Museum. Included churches:Christ Episcopal Church, Holly Springs First Methodist Church, and First Presbyterian Church.

Churches will only be open for touring 11:00am – 2:00pm. Walter Place will only be open for touring one Friday, April 17. 

✨Weekend Events & Highlights

Friday | April 17

✂️ 9:30 AM – Welcome Ceremony & Ribbon Cutting. Kick off the weekend with our official welcome ceremony at Montrose.
🏠 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM – Bank of Holly Springs presents the Tour of Homes, Churches & Museums
🎨 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM – Arts on the Grounds  - Enjoy local artists and craftsmen showcasing and selling their work on the beautiful grounds of Montrose.
🌸 11:30 AM & 1:00 PM – Plant It Pink Luncheon - Dine on a delicious luncheon at Montrose, with a portion of proceeds benefiting the West Cancer Foundation.
🎬 5:00 PM – Screen on the Green - Bring the family for an outdoor movie night on the grounds of Montrose. Kid-friendly activities and concessions will be available.
👻 8:00 PM – Hillcrest Cemetery Ghost Tour - Led by historian Phillip Knecht, explore Holly Springs’ historic cemetery dating back to 1838.A spooky cocktail is included!

Saturday | April 18
🕙 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM – Bank of Holly Springs presents the Tour of Homes, Churches & Museums
🎨 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM – Arts on the Grounds 
☕️ 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM - The Town and Country Garden Club will have coffee and a bake sale at The Sabbath School   
🥪 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM – Boxed Lunches To-Go - Grab a delicious boxed lunch at Montrose—perfect for enjoying on your tour or wherever the day takes you.
👑 7:00 PM – Queens Ball - A beloved Pilgrimage tradition returns! Join us for an elegant evening as we present our 84th Annual Pilgrimage Royalty Court. Enjoy heavy hors d’oeuvres, cocktails, live music, dancing, and a Silent Auction. Be sure to bring your checkbook—you won’t want to miss these auction items!

Sunday | April 19
🍽 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM – Sunday Southern Brunch - Wrap up the weekend with our beloved relaxed, come-and-go southern brunch at Montrose featuring a delicious menu, cocktails, and live jazz music on the grounds.
