• Public tasting tickets: $10 adults / $5 kids 12 &
under / free for uniformed active-duty & veterans

• Registration deadline for cooks: 10 February 2026
• Prizes: 1st $300, 2nd $200, 3rd $100 (paid from
entry fees)
• Dress code: Casual; Post ball caps encouraged
• Volunteer needs (6–8 volunteers):
• 4 ticket sellers/cashiers (no special skills)
• 2 runners to deliver tasting bowls (apron provided)
• 2 cleanup crew 3:30–5:00 PM (gloves provided)
Outside coordination:
• Scott’s Catering – providing tables & tablecloths
• Rick’s Port-a-Johns – delivering 2 units on 13 Feb
• Food Lion Surf City – donating corn bread &
toppings
Post coordination already requested/completed:
• Bar Committee – full bar open, cash only
• House Committee – 30 six-foot tables & 120
chairs requested
• Range closed for the day (no conflict)
• Karaoke system NOT needed
Special considerations:
• Alcohol permit on file (standard Post permit)
• Fire extinguisher check completed 1 Feb
• No outside crockpots allowed (insurance rule) – all
chili cooked on-site morning of event
