We’ll begin with the NHDP Voter Protection Team, who will explain what the team does, why its work matters, and how it helps safeguard voters’ rights during elections. We'll also be joined by Bev Cotton, candidate for Hillsborough County Treasurer. Then we’ll turn the spotlight to our own community with a fun, hands-on hour of social media content creation.

Move among several creative stations where you can record a short “Why I Vote” video, pose for individual or group photos, help brainstorm captions and election reminders, or interview another community member about what gives them hope. Whether you’re comfortable on camera, prefer working behind the scenes, or simply want to learn more, there will be an easy way for everyone to participate.

No communications or social media experience is needed—just bring your ideas, your voice, and your enthusiasm. Together, we’ll create content that reflects our community, strengthens our message, and helps tell the story of why voting matters.
