OptOutside Hike with 52-Hike Challenge at Canoe Creek SP

We will be hiking around the lake at Canoe Creek State Park on several connector trails, (Marsh, Lakeside, Beaver Pond, and Fisherman's Path). This is approximately 5 miles with some slight elevation gains. We will cross over Brumbaugh Dam and over a spillway. Hikers will see forests, fields, wetlands, and the lakeshore. Hikers should be prepared for trail conditions such as mud, ice depending on the changing weather. Please wear proper footwear and bring water and snacks with you. This is a beautiful hike that showcases some of the 12-miles of trails within the park. We will be meeting at the far parking lot by the restrooms. If the restrooms are closed there should be a portapotty, but I would recommend a stop prior to coming to the park.
