- **Event Description**: Special Event Alert! ??? In lieu of game 2 (originally scheduled for June 22nd, boo rain), we will be hosting a Father (or parent/guardian) & Daughter 8u Home Run Derby to celebrate father's day (and now 4th of July too!).

?Field 1 Legion Park on Wednesday July 8th @ 6pm until ?

?Batters participating with 8u player can be any parent/guardian/someone special (older brother/older sister/etc.). Bat will be provided.

?5 swings for Dad/other and 5 swings for player. After 3 swings, 8u player can hit off tee for final 2 swings, if they wish. 

?Scoring for Dad/other: 5 points per HR, 2 points to any fly balls to outfield and 1 point to any other hit. 

?Scoring for player: 5 points to any fly ball to outfield, 2 points to any ball that rolls to outfield and 1 point to any other hit. 

?Points for Dad/other and player will then be combined to one final score. 

? Any player 8u eligible is able to compete. Any player not registered to HAYSL must complete sign in form. 

?Winner will receive a $25 gift card. **In the event there is a tie. Anyone tied for first place will go again.
