For the past nineteen years, The Hooten Hallers have been tearing up the road, blending blues, garage rock, country, punk, and jazz into a sound that's truly their own. This powerhouse trio is driven by the vocal growl and swirling electric and lap steel guitars of John Randall, the powerful drumming and falsetto howl of Andy Rehm, and the burning baritone and bass saxophone lines of Kellie Everett. It’s Morph*ne meets ZZ Top mixed with a dash of George Thorogood and Tom Waits. But anyone who has seen this band live knows that this group is unlike anything they’ve experienced before. Emerging from nearly two decades worth of singalongs while racking up more than half a million miles in a van, comes The Hooten Hallers’ 7th official full length album entitled Van Jams Vol. 1, released April 3, 2026. This collection of songs both resonated with and influenced The Hooten Hallers and spans across decades of rock, punk, country, soul, R&B, and indie but are all delivered with the signature sound that fans have come to expect from the band: dueling vocals between John Randall’s powerful, gravely lows and Andy Rehm’s buttery high tenor, jangly electric guitar, pounding drums, and soaring bass lines on the baritone sax.
