Both species rely on mature Eucalypt trees for shelter, feeding and movement, making the protection of remaining habitat important for their survival.Join Josh Bowell, Project Officer with the Queensland Glider Network and co-founder of the Yellow-bellied Glider Project, to learn more about these species, where they occur, their habitat requirements and the threats affecting their populations.Josh will also discuss the work of the Queensland Glider Network to research and document glider populations across South East Queensland, including nocturnal spotlighting surveys and acoustic monitoring, and how this information can support their conservation and habitat protection.This event is funded by Do-Op Shop.
