Dance Partner Requirement

Participation in The Mojo Movement Company requires a dance partner.

If you do not currently have a partner but are interested in being considered for Company, please contact Alex directly to discuss options.
Leaders / male dancers are especially encouraged to reach out, as partner matching may be possible depending on availability and team needs.

About Company

The Mojo Movement Company is designed for dancers working at a high level who are ready to commit to:

Professional-standard training

Collaboration with international choreographers

Long-term artistic and technical development

The program places a strong emphasis on:

Versatility across solo and partnered work

Consistency, professionalism, and teamwork

In 2026, Company will train and perform across multiple major events, culminating in Latin Cabaret / Showcase later in the year.

Commitment

Company is a one-year commitment, running from Term 1 through to Latin Cabaret / Showcase.

Participants are expected to commit through Term 4, unless otherwise agreed earlier in the year.

Program Structure & Focus

The Company program has been intentionally restructured for 2026:

Terms 1 & 2
Focus on technical development, performance quality, partnering, and choreography creation across solo and partnered work.

Term 3
Dedicated to showcase preparation, including refinement, polishing, performance consistency, and mental readiness.

Term 4
Focused solely on competition preparation and performance.

As this is the first year of this format, further details regarding competition structure, timelines, and expectations will be shared once choreography, pairings, and performance goals are fully confirmed.

Weekly Training Schedule
Mondays

6:15–7:15pm — Company Class (Body Movement & Shines)

7:30–8:45pm — SOUL Food

9:00–10:00pm — Shines Choreography

Men:
Choreographed by Juan Camilo Diago, coached by Madalyn

Women:
Choreographed and coached by Natasha Frost

SOUL Food Participation

For men, SOUL Food is a required component of Company training, supporting performance depth, musical clarity, and stage presence.

For women, SOUL Food is optional, recognising differing training focuses and workloads.

SOUL Food is included in Company fees. Opting not to participate does not alter term fees, as its value is built into the overall Company structure.

7:30–8:45pm — Salsa Partnered Choreography

9:00–10:00pm — Invite Only (by invitation)

Term Dates

Term 1: Monday 9 February – Monday 13 April (10 weeks)

Term 2: Monday 28 April – Monday 22 June (9 weeks)

Term 3: Monday 20 July – Monday 27 September (10 weeks)

Costs (2026)

$1,650 per term (including GST)

This all-inclusive fee covers:

Weekly Company classes and rehearsals

Training and choreography with international choreographers

Company weekend away / dance camp

A costume and uniform levy will be confirmed at a later date.
To keep costs manageable, this will be spread across the three terms, rather than charged upfront.
