This year more than ever, the children of Pasco County need us. With hundreds of families struggling to make ends meet and the holiday season fast approaching, thousands of young hearts will wake up to no new toy unless we step in. (The county’s population now exceeds 600,000 and nearly one in ten residents live below the poverty line. 

That’s why we’re hosting a weekend of giving, community, and fun — where the toys fill the boxes, the fire trucks roll in, and hope rolls out in full force. In partnership with the Pasco Patriots Association and Krew de Forti, and kindly sponsored by the Edward Jones office of Chris Colon, we’re asking our community to show up and show out for the season of giving.

What’s going down?

Real fire trucks on-site — kids (and grown-kids) get to explore and photo-opp with heroic vehicles and our local first responders.

Bring a new, unwrapped toy and drop it in our boxes for the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program — let’s fill the box until it overflows.

Grill-out with us: hot dogs, snack fun, and good company from 11 AM to 1 PM both days.

Win cool prizes: music-themed T-shirts, tickets to Snow Cat Ridge, restaurant gift cards and more — one drop, one chance to help and one chance to win.

Celebrate community: you’ll meet local business folks, first responders, neighbors, and dozens of caring volunteers coming together for this cause.

Why it matters:
Too many children in Pasco County will go without this holiday season. We may not have exact numbers, but the need is acute — and when a toy drive becomes a lifeline, we know we’re doing more than “just giving a toy” — we’re giving hope, connection, joy and the message: “You matter.”
Your donation and your presence make a real difference in a child’s memory — and in our community’s heartbeat.

How you can help:

Bring one (or more) new, unwrapped toys to Sun Toyota November 15 & 16.

Tell a friend, a co-worker, a teammate: high schoolers, sports families (like the ones you’re so familiar with in youth sports) — let’s rally.

Volunteer a little time to greet, direct traffic, help kids board fire trucks, and load the donation boxes.

Sponsor or match with us: if your business or sports team wants to join in — we’d love to feature them. This is a great tie-in for your charitable outreach.
